Young Person Autism Assessment

We provide a streamlined and thorough diagnostic assessment pathway for young people age 10 years and older.  Our diagnostic assessment for young people consists of:

1. Screening questionnaires and initial information gathering, e.g., about the young person's family and developmental history, their strengths and challenges.
2. Developmental interview with the child’s parent(s) or care-giver using the ADI-R.
3. Observation of the child at out venue in Whitstable, Kent, using the ADOS-2.
4. Communication with your young person’s school or college.
5. Review of any available clinical or professional reports.
6. Multidisciplinary clinical discussion to discuss assesment outcome.
7. A comprehensive report including recommendations to support your child to achieve their full potential.
8. Feedback meeting within 20 working days from the assessment, to discuss the outcome and our recommendations.

Our reports are recognised by the NHS and other statutory organisations. 

Profile Package

This is a way of obtaining a brief report indicating whether there are signs of autism. You and your young person complete some questionnaires and will be asked to attend a consultation with one of our specialists. You will then receive your young person's profile report via email or post. 

The report will not provide a formal diagnosis but it will include recommendations, which may indicate a need for an autism assessment, or that alternative assessment avenues are indicated, or that there is no need for any firther assessments. 

The cost of our Autism Profile Package is £450.
