Dr Isobel Robb
Chartered Clinical Psychologist & Director of Robb Psychology
Dr Isobel Robb is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist, and completed her training at Royal Holloway, University of London. Her experience spans 22 years across a wide range of clinical settings. She worked in the NHS for many years and is now director of Robb Psychology Kent. Isobel's expertise means that she has the knowledge and skills to identify, assess and treat a wide range of psychological needs including anxiety (such as social anxieties), low moods, relationship difficulties, trauma, post-natal depression/anxiety and phobias. Isobel always strives to provide a safe, sensitive and containing space for people to explore their distress, and identify ways of alleviating difficult thoughts and feelings. She is trained in Compassion Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, EMDR, CBT and mindfulness.

Dr April Ward
Clinical Psychologist
Dr April Ward is a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC) with 11+ years of clinical experience in both NHS and third sector organisations. April’s extensive experience means she is able to work with a range of psychological difficulties. Her area of specialist interest is working with individuals, couples and families during pregnancy and early parenthood. She is also interested in the impact of social media use on psychological wellbeing, particularly in adolescence after carrying out her doctoral research in this area.

Dr Victoria Lawson
Counselling Psychologist
Dr Victoria Lawson is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist with over 10 years’ experience working within NHS and Social Care settings. She works with adults and young people of all ages and has experience with individuals, families and couples. Having worked Senior Psychologist in the NHS alongside private practice she is experienced in providing a safe and supportive environment for people experiencing a wide range of challenges. Traumatic experiences, relationship difficulties, loss and bereavement are key triggers that can bring people to treatment and Dr Lawson works with people struggling with these areas.

Roger Newman
CBT Psychotherapist
Roger has extensive experience of working both in social care and mental health and has practiced within the private (inpatient and outpatient), the NHS, and the Charity Sector. In the past 5 years, Roger has incorporated experiential psychotherapy within his CBT practice which incorporates mindfulness, Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and more recently Schema Therapy. The CFT approach has been shown to be highly effective to ‘non-responders of CBT’ and particularly if they experience high levels of shame/self-criticism.
